After creating an account, it says "Username/password combination incorrect".
To solve this, please login into your account and click the 3 day trial button. If you already had a trial it could be your account being expired. Please check your email.
Can I choose which server I connect to?
Yes you can! Just open up the PingBuster application and click the button called "Servers". You'll be able to choose any server we currently offer.
Can I place the PingBuster logo in my forum's signature with my referral link?
Can I share my account with other people?
Sure you can! It's your account - you pay for it! Although, you can only login once at any given time per server. But beware with giving people your password - know who to trust.
Can I use PingBuster on a prepaid base instead of subscribing?
Yes! You can buy our time codes. When buying 2 or more time codes, you'll receive a 10% discount and this discount could go up to 50%!
Different config per executable - what does this mean?
If you wish to use pingbusterhome.exe for home use, and pingbusterwork.exe for at work, you can now do so. Each executable has it's own config (so different (standard) server, port, options etc).
This can also come in handy if you wish to use 2 applications with 2 different IP's. You can assign each executable a different port, and then create another proxy in ProxyCap (or other proxifier).
Please note: this will not work with our VPN servers, since all data will be send through our servers, instead of data which you specified in your socksifier.
Does PingBuster work on Linux?
Yes! PingBuster will work on Linux, you can run PingBuster in Wine (you can get Wine in your application manager).

Log in on your account and click the 'Referral program' link. There you will find your personal referral link.

How can I run PingBuster with admin rights as default?
You can right click on PingBuster (ie pingbuster.exe) and go to properties. Now, click the compatibility tab and check "Run this program as an administrator" (at the bottom of this tab).
How do I get the debug logs?
You can get debug logs by opening PingBuster in debug mode. This is how you achieve this:

How many people can I refer?
You can refer as many people as you wish. Make sure they use your personal link so we know who refered them.
How much do I earn per refered person?
You will get 10% of their paid amount, recurring. This means that if he/she pays for a one year subscription, you will get € 2,99. When his/her subscription is renewed you will earn another € 2,99. This means that if you refer enough people, you will have some nice extra money coming in.
I cannot connect to the PingBuster server. I keep getting an error message!
If you are sure your proxy settings are correct, then please have a look at the logfiles. They are located in the following folder: %appdata%\PingBuster\Logfiles. These logs contain a more detailed description.
I found a socksifier called X. Why isn't X in the socksifier list?
Please contact us so we can put this socksifier on the list.
I made an account but I don't see the 3 day trial option?
Our system automatically detects whether you had a trial before or not. If you believe this is in error, please use our live chat.

I'm connected to a PingBuster server, but my IP hasn't been changed?
If you are using a socksifier, like ProxyCap or Freecap, you should add your browser's executable (.exe) in the list, and disable the proxy you use in your browser. However, if you are not using any software to socksify, you should enter the following proxy as socks 5:

Is a demo/trial available?

Is it allowed to refer my family?
Is my data really secure?
Yes! Your data is encrypted before sending it over your network. So when you're browsing the web, playing a game or checking your email, every request will be encrypted before sending to the PingBuster server. No one can see your packets!
What are time codes and how do I get them?
Time codes are prepaid codes which you can buy from our resellers. These codes can be given away or resold. Available time codes are in 30, 90, 180 and 365 days. Click here for more information and how to buy them.
What games do you support?
We support all MMORPG's over our normal servers. We support all games over our VPN servers.
What is the "Automatically reconnect" option in the options screen?
With this feature enabled, PingBuster will automatically restore your connection when the connection is interrupted.
What methods of payments do you accept?
For subscriptions we use PayPal. If you wish to buy time codes we accept PayPal and bank transfer. We're working on more methods for payments.
What payout methods do you provide?
We payout through PayPal, or you can convert your balance into PingBuster days.
When being paid out through PayPal, who will pay the fee?
You will pay the fee. This is a small amount PayPal charges for using their service. You can find their fees on the website: PayPal fees.
When can I get paid out?
You can get paid out when your balance is greater than € 0,00. However, this limit can be changed at any time.
When I try to connect to the PingBuster server, it says "Connection refused".
Probably port 443 is blocked. Unblock this port in your firewall. If this port is blocked in your work's / school's router, please try one of the other ports available or else contact us. Please give us a port number which is not blocked, and we'll try to help you! :-)
When I try to log in with the PingBuster application, it says "Username/password combination incorrect" but my username and password are correct!
This is caused by not having an active account. This means that you do not have a trial or an active subscription. Please visit the account page.
When I try to login in PuTTY, it says "Access denied". What should I do?
If your subscription is active, you can contact us. Make sure you use your email address which you use for your account.
When I try to login into PuTTY, PuTTY automatically closes. I can't do anything at all!
This could have 2 reasons:
1. Someone else is logged in into your account, therefore PuTTY closes.
2. You disconnected from the internet while having an active session. Please wait 10 minutes before reattempting, or login into your account and press the Force Logout button.
When opening PingBuster, it says that I need to run it as administrator, but I am administrator!
Right click on PingBuster and click "Run as Administrator". This will solve the issue.
Where do I get the beta version?
To get the beta version, do the following:
1. Launch the PingBuster application.
2. Go the the options screen and select the Beta update channel:
Why do I have to pay for PingBuster?
PingBuster has to maintain their servers, provide support and purchase bandwidth.
Why would I use a VPN server instead of a normal server?
A VPN server has multiple benefits. It will redirect all your traffic without a socksifier (like ProxyCap - which you have to pay for). Also, it will allow UDP packets (which basically means you can play all games, including Call of Duty).
However, if you wish to use multiple applications each with a different IP address, you should not use a VPN server since that will not work. Then you should use a socksifier and specify each program a different proxy.
