Since version 2.5, PingBuster allows you to setup your own custom routing. Custom routing allows you to include
or exclude IP addresses which are routed through PingBuster's servers. For example, you are at home and only want
to have your email traffic go through PingBuster, simply setup the custom routing list as follows:
Easy as that.
If you'd like to exclude certain connections from using PingBuster, simply set the routing mode to exclude and add your IP addresses which should be reached through your own network.
Routing modes explained
PingBuster offers two routing modes: include and exclude.
Include: no traffic, except for the IP addresses added to the custom routing list, will go through PingBuster.
Exlude: all trafic, except for the IP addresses added to the custom routing list, will go through PingBuster.
Adding IP address ranges
The default netmask setting will add a single IP to the list. If you'd like to add a whole range, make sure you change
For example, you would like to add the IP address range 10.0.0.1 to 10.0.0.255, all you need to enter is:
Now, the whole range 10.0.0.1 to 10.0.0.255 is affected by the new route.
